Barry Town x Bro Radio

Barry Town United AFC are proud to announce a new community partnership with Bro Radio, strengthening the already existing connection between the club, the people of Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan.

This exciting partnership will see Bro Radio and Barry Town United working together to bring supporters, families, and the wider community closer to the action both on and off the pitch. As the local station dedicated to serving the Vale, Bro Radio will provide coverage, features, and exclusive updates to ensure fans never miss a moment of the story at Jenner Park.

Barry Town United will highlight the role of Bro Radio as the Vale’s Local Radio station, encouraging fans and partners to tune in and connect with the local community.

Barry Town United Secretary Daley said: “I have enjoyed working with Nathan at Bro Radio for the last few seasons, most notably with our Fireworks evening. Our football club has always been rooted in the heart of the community, and this partnership with Bro Radio reflects that. By working together, we can engage with more people across the town and the Vale, and give supporters a platform to share in everything happening at the club. It’s an exciting step forward, and one that will only strengthen the connection between the club and its community.”

The partnership will include regular features on Bro Radio, community-focused initiatives, and opportunities for supporters to hear directly from players, coaches, and club staff throughout the season. It will also see Barry Town and Bro Radio collaborate on local events and campaigns, further highlighting the importance of sport, wellbeing, and togetherness across the Vale.

Bro Radio Operations Director Nathan Spackman said: “As the Vale’s local radio station, we love to champion the very best our county has to offer including our local sports teams. Working with Barry Town United, we’ll be able to shine a light on the positive impact the club makes across the Vale, bringing supporters closer to the club they love and promoting the wider work of Bro Radio.”

Barry Town United and Bro Radio are committed to building a partnership that celebrates community pride and creates opportunities for people across Barry and the Vale to get involved.
