Barry’s first game in the Cymru South was on a warm Friday night in Carmarthenshire in front of more than 600 fans at Ammanford.
The home team took the lead through former Rhyl and Swansea City striker, Lee Trundle, who beat his marker before firing a low shot past Mike Lewis in the Barry goal
Barry were level before half-time when Kayne McLaggon equalised, controlling in the box before beating the keeper.
Ammanford took the lead once again after 74 minutes, when Trundle set up Jordan Langley at the back post, but Barry equalised for a second time when McLaggon chased down a defender and the attempted clearance was diverted off McLaggon and into the goal past Ammanford ‘keeper, Joe Massaro.
