Barry Town United striker Noah Daley is hoping to help the Town return to winning ways when Connah’s Quay Nomads visit Jenner Park this Saturday.
Having joined the club a few weeks ago, Daley has already opened his goalscoring account and has praised his new teammates for helping him settle into life at Barry.
“The boys have been brilliant since I’ve come in. They’ve made me feel welcome and made it really easy to settle in the changing room.
“It’s always nice to score early after signing for a new team. Hopefully, I can add to the tally again Saturday.”
Following Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Ammanford and Friday’s 5-2 defeat away at Colwyn Bay, the Town will be looking to bounce back in front of their own supporters this weekend.
Despite the disappointment of the last two results, Daley remains confident that the squad can rediscover the form that saw them make an impressive start to the campaign.
“Obviously, the last two results haven’t gone the way we’ve wanted, but the boys made an unbelievable start to the season so far. Everyone is really disappointed, but hopefully we can put it right Saturday at home!”
With Connah’s Quay Nomads arriving at Jenner Park this weekend, Daley is expecting another tough test but believes the Town have what it takes to secure all three points.
“Hopefully, we can return to winning ways this weekend against a good Connah’s Quay side, but we know that if we turn up, we can get back to winning ways.”
Finally, Daley highlighted the importance of the Jenner Park faithful and urged supporters to get behind the team as they look to return to winning ways.
“After two disappointing results, a big crowd Saturday would be massive for us to try our best to get back to winning ways. Get behind the boys!”
